IT support for the EUR 200,00 financial aid for PC purchasing applications collection and also purchasing processes monitoring. http://euro200.edu.ro/

SEI Program offers the technical support for territorial data collection and the information publishing on Internet within Euro200 Program, a program that consists in 200 euro financial help offered for computers acquisition.
The Euro 200 project components are: - Collection of the pupils and students requests that respect the law conditions for obtaining the financial help to buy a new computer
- Publishing on the Internet of the applicants lists
- Public discussion area on the educational forum: http://forum.edu.ro/index.php?showforum=63
- Private area for ISJ support on the educational forum
- Information public area: http://euro200.edu.ro, where can be found the useful information on legislation, school inspectorates and the project calendar
The project stages are the following: - Gathering student's financial applications and storing them in central database, using an online application, or directly, importing MS Excel files
- Publishing eligible student's list on the Internet (Euro200 website)
- Publishing Euro200 program's beneficiaries on the Internet (Euro200 website), before and after solving students appeal
- Public information, using Euro200 website and SEI discussion board (using a public forum and a limited one)
- Gathering information regarding computer's acquisitions
- Publishing reports regarding purchasing processes on the Internet, in order to ensure transparency in computer's acquisition process.
The Euro 200 project results in 2005 In 2005, within Euro 200 project were centralized 51.748 financial help requests. The received requests were analyzed pending on the conditions published. The next stage was the publishing of a list with 27.570 beneficiaries on http://euro200.edu.ro. Euro200 system also gathered information regarding computer-purchasing processes. There has been published information regarding computer providers, total number of computers acquired, vouchers and beneficiaries.
Within Euro 200 project from 2005, the total number of the sold computers was 25.908, these computers being procured from 891 IT companies.
